Jibacoa, Cuba

Just 60 kilometres east of Havana, the fishing village of Jibacoa is one of those rare, Cuban gems: a secluded paradise that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The lack of cellular connection gives rise to relaxation, forcing visitors to unplug, unwind and bask in nature. Days here are spent hiking to the local farm, discovering hidden beaches and listening to the sounds of palm trees blowing in the wind.
